Sony Music - Writing robot

Our part involved teaching the Robot Arm to write, and this wasn't an easy task, the hardware is from ST Robotic and the model is the R12.

This project was ordered by Sony Music, and is promoting the artist Talay Riley.

The writing application has been developed in ActionScript and communicate with the Robot through an open port while interpreting the Robot's controller native language ROBOFORTH. All letters are converted into an Array of points at runtime, and taught to the robot on the fly, in order to avoid clogging the controller's memory. and therefor allowing the Robot to write for indefinite period of time, and potentially change the font, if required.
